Because this Shirley never failed the Rite of Accession, she never had self-esteem issues quite as bad as canon!Shirley's. She did suffer a great deal of depression and blah after Senel and Stella came out with their relationship, but Gulcasa convinced her to believe in herself as she never had before.

Consequently, WotD!Shirley tends to be a lot more direct and less hesitant than canon!Shirley is through the beginning of the game. She's also, uh, a year older AND GOING TO BE A MAMA, so she's more confident and assertive.

She's also had her Merines powers and has had to use them to defend her and her husband's nations, and so she's at a pretty high level. More, she likes to smite people with massive pink eres...

But WotD!Shirley has the same compassion and purity of heart that makes canon!Shirley so wonderful.
